Horse Driving Basics Lesson Plan
The purpose of this course is to provide the student with the basic knowledge and hands on experience so they are able to drive both teams and singles and hook to vehicles safely.
DAY 1 – Morning
Safety – Dealing with horses – use caution

Day 2 – Morning
Break into two groups: one-half single and the other half team
- Ground driving
- How to hook to a vehicle

DAY 2 – Afternoon
Driving and more driving – you get to try different vehicles and implements, single and team.
